Your character dies permanently. Any new character starts a completely new life and remembers nothing from their previous one.

No. Secret roles are meant to remain secret, both in and out of character.

You may organise events, but you may not share information your character would not know. Using outside communication to gain an RP advantage is considered metagaming.

Yes — but only if it makes sense for your character's story. Betrayals should happen through roleplay, not because of personal friendships.

Yes, but only with a valid in-character reason. Random killing (RDM) is not allowed.

Yes, if it fits your role and is properly roleplayed. Random griefing or stealing without RP is not allowed.

Take your time and ask yourself one question: “What would my character realistically do?”

A Valid Death is any permanent death that occurs as a believable consequence of roleplay. This includes deaths caused by murder, execution, accidents, starvation, illness, old age, sacrifices, or properly roleplayed conflicts.

Every Valid Death is considered permanent, meaning your character is gone forever.

Yes. As long as it fits the world of Blackreach and does not contradict the established lore.

Absolutely. Lying, deception and manipulation are all part of roleplay. Just remember that every lie can have consequences.

Only if it has been agreed upon by the players involved before the server starts, or if it develops naturally through roleplay.

Yes, but your character must face the consequences. Disobeying the Crown is a serious crime in Blackreach.

Using information your character could not know, such as Discord conversations, streams, or secret role descriptions.

Forcing actions onto another player, or performing unrealistic actions without giving others a chance to react.

No. At the start of the server, every character is assigned an existing home within Blackreach.

If you wish to build a new house, expand your property, or construct any permanent building, you must first receive in-character approval from the King. Building without royal permission is considered illegal and may result in consequences through roleplay.

Every role contributes to the story. If you are unsure how to proceed, create roleplay with others or contact the Server Team for ideas.

Only if it makes sense within the roleplay and the situation. Do not use deaths as an excuse to steal everything a player owns.

Accidents happen. Simply return to roleplay as quickly as possible. Repeatedly breaking immersion may result in staff intervention.

No one. Blackreach is a living story, not a competition. Your goal is to create memorable moments, not to “beat” the other players.

The server is currently still in development, so the final mod list has not been decided yet. We are carefully selecting mods that improve the roleplay experience, immersion and overall gameplay without taking away from the story of Blackreach.

A complete modpack will be announced once testing and preparation are finished. Please be patient — we want to make sure every mod has a purpose before the server launches.

That is completely fine. Nobody starts as a perfect roleplayer. Roleplay is a skill that develops over time through interaction, experience, and simply participating in the story.

You do not need to create complicated speeches or act like a professional actor. The most important thing is to stay in character, make decisions that fit your role, and treat the world as if it is real.

Take your time, learn from others, and do not be afraid to make mistakes. Everyone in Blackreach is here to create a story together.

The situation will be reviewed by the Server Team. The consequence depends on the severity of the violation, the intent behind it, and whether it was a mistake or done intentionally — from a warning up to removal from the server in serious cases.
